Common sense, as we all know, is an elusive quality for many folks, but even those without it usually have respect for the dead! Or so I thought, until I recently read an article about 3 teenaged boys who were arrested for digging up a secluded grave north of Houston, . Kevin Wade Jones, 17, and Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, both of Kingwood, were arrested Wednesday night and were being held on misdemeanor charges of abuse of a corpse. A 16-year-old was referred to the TexasHarris juvenile justice system.
Why did they do something so disrespectful, so horrific? So they could remove the skull of an 11 year old boy from the casket buried there. Their reason? They wanted the skull of this poor unfortunate child to make a marijuana bong.
Abuse of a corpse? A misdemeanor? What the hell is wrong with this picture? I am at a complete loss for words!
