If farmers don't report their wages then they can write them off as business expenses. And I don't know many farmers who are willing to lose thousands in write-offs from their taxes so a worker could save hundreds in taxes. I'm a conservative Republican who thinks most of the country is gone ape-crazy over immigration without ever really thinking about it. You can't blame the workers for going off to find jobs to feed their families. If there were no jobs here and good paying jobs in Canada, I'd learn to say "eh" after each phrase. And if you sit there and say you wouldn't go to work to feed you're family then you're a piece of crap. Could we close the borders now? Maybe. We need to assimilate those that are here and stop the bleeding first. Good post.
